Schenna / Verdins

Schenna is set in a prime location on the plateau above the spa town of Merano/Meran. It consists of seven villages at different altitudes. Scena’s privileged position brings together an undeveloped rural environment with the convenience of proximity to an urban center and its rich cultural life. Thanks to the mild climate, hiking and mountain biking is possible from spring until late autumn. Via ferrata "Heini Holzer" Ifinger Schenna

A spectacular climb in a breathtaking environment. The 500 m long climb is perfectly secured with 1000 m of steel cable, is rated at medium difficulty and is suitable for the less strong alpinists or for families with enthusiastic young climbers (10 years and older). More infos »

Gardens and Touriseum of Trauttmansdorff Castle

The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, located in the town of Meran, is a botanical garden nestled into a twelve-hectare Amphitheater with an altitude differential of 100 meters. Trauttmansdorff offers spectacular views of exotic gardens and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and the spa resort town of Meran.
